trash and dirty laundry....

for a household of 2, we generate a great deal of both....how is that? does a family of 4 generate twice what we do?...and good grief, how did my crazy, non-functioning mother ever keep up with 6?...I just want to understand...

and if we get a dishwasher will the number of dishes we use increase?...and if we had one of those super tremendous whirlpool washing machines would we just get more clothes dirty cause we could?...and why is our city picking up trash today when it's a holiday? now I will have a double pile on the street come Friday...
