Illustration Friday - Sacrifice

been awhile since I actually got an Illustration Friday post done...and since it's the first for a month or so...let's start with a stretch...:)

Sacrifice brings too many Old Testament Bible stories to mind so I went with her...I'm in no mood to dwell on the OT anyway...

Beauty is a sacrifice...especially in the heat...I think she's got the Fever....

btw...this is also a return to the watercolor pencils I love so much and haven't even unzipped from their bag for months...they've been lonely
